And while the ultimate end-user of the Pie service is a consumer or small business owner, Pie's customers are its service provider channel — Broadband Service Providers (BSPs), CE retailers, and dedicated service and support providers.
Built as a Telco-grade platform and on an open API framework, Pie's software augments and integrates with existing tools (CRM systems, call center applications, field service tools, human service organizations, etc.) to deliver efficient, cost-effective end-to-end service and support, while shifting the traditional support model from reactive to proactive and predictive. Pie securely extends the service provider's reach beyond the gateway to any network connected device within the home or small business. Pie's goal is to improve the consumer experience, automate repairs where possible, empower the consumer with information and tools, and to reduce the number of support calls and on-site repair visits and the time required for each when necessary.
Pie's software services platform places the service provider's brand front and center, strengthening the relationship with the consumer and moving the relationship to a proactive support role. Ultimately, Pie enables the service provider to "own" the support relationship with the consumer and create a new, value-added relationship resulting in reduced subscriber churn, lower ongoing support costs and increased revenue opportunity.
The Pie service is delivered to service provider customers in two ways. As a new or upgraded premium service offering, Pie software is embedded in the gateway or set top box for unsurpassed service and support capability, "built in". To easily and quickly reach your existing customers, the Pie service is available through downloadable software from your app store. Either way, Pie enables service providers to quickly improve their service offering, lower support costs, increase new service revenues and enhance their customer knowledge.
