Pie Home™ — end user application and management tool for all connected devices

Network Map

"At-a-glance" status of your network and connected devices in one graphical display! See device images, device names, connection paths, connection types, connection status, resources shared and notifications of any immediate or potential problems; all in one place.

Hover Status

By hovering over any of the devices on the map, see a quick device summary showing high level product and performance information such as bandwidth consumption, firewall status, operating system version, available disk space, and more.

Alert System

The service is continuously monitoring and maintaining your network. Should an event occur that requires your attention, Pie will send proactive text or email alerts to keep you informed. Alerts are configurable to receive more or less information: your network is down, your thermostat is malfunctioning, your Xbox came online, you're about to run out of storage on your PC, and more. Whatever, whenever, wherever and whomever you want to know — Pie lets you decide.

Guided Resolution

Should a problem occur, Pie will proactively let you know what the problem is, where the problem is, and will provide simple step-by-step instructions for how to resolve it. Where the purchase of new equipment may be required, Pie will even guide you to the source.

Fix Now

In many cases, Pie can provide a "single click" option to fix common problems such as turning on a firewall, rebooting a router, sharing a printer and more. Pie gives you that control at the touch of a button.

Directed Call

Should a call to a support representative be required, based upon the nature of the problem, Pie will provide the appropriate contact for fast and efficient help. Tier 1 support, Tier 3 support, or perhaps customer support from a device vendor, Pie will guide you to the right place.

Remote Management

Even when you're away, Pie's cloud-based distributed platform lets you access your home network from your Smartphone or other internet access device. Checking status, turning on or off devices, rebooting your router, managing shared resources, and more is all available remotely, equipping the "home CIO" with the tools they need!

Custom Controls

Customize Pie's support software to your own individual needs. Set alert parameters, notifications, and even create regular "health reports" to keep you informed on the status of your home or office and to create a list of any maintenance tasks that may be required.

Pie Tech™ — Customer Support Representative and Field Agent Application

Network Map

With consumer permission, the customer support representative begins the support call with same network map view as in Pie Home. This helps the CSR and consumer speak the same language from the start. With added resources in the CSR view, Pie Tech helps to nearly eliminate the discovery process and to move quickly to problem resolution, significantly reducing call duration.

Alert Summary

A summary of all alert conditions for the connected home is presented in order of severity for the CSR, but sortable by date, device or condition. The Alert system guides the CSR to the most critical issues as well as potential issues. A history of system performance metrics history is also available at a glance.

Hover Status

By hovering over any of the devices on the map, as with Pie Home, the CSR sees a quick summary showing high level device and performance information such as bandwidth consumption, firewall status, operating system version, available disk space, and more. But in Pie Tech, the hover offers more detailed device diagnostics.

Device Detail

A wealth of information is instantly available to the CSR a the click of a button. The Device Detail page, allows the CSR to drill down for detailed data on the physical equipment, performance or software resources for each networked device.

Device Actions

Based on device type, the CSR can use Pie Tech to initiate remote actions like shutting down or rebooting a device. Each action can be performed with a single click without requiring customer assistance.

Customer History

Previous customer service records, including detailed technician notes, network and device performance metrics, network and device events and more is carried forward from one support call to the next, enabling each support technician to provide superior customer service.

Health Reports

During a support call, customized Health Reports can be generated by the CSR to show the operational health of one or multiple devices as well as the entire network. These can be use for CSR diagnostics or sent to the consumer for their information and records and as well as for ongoing preventative maintenance. Health Reports serve as maintenance tool as well as an excellent marketing tool for upgrade, up sell and cross selling.

System Reports

Outside of a service call, CSRs and CSR Administrators can use Pie Tech to generate reports for call center activity like number of calls handled, call duration, daily and weekly averages, and more. A powerful tool for monitoring and improving call center performance.
